A Swinford man charged in connection with a knife attack on Dublin GAA star Jonny Cooper is to appear back before the district court today (Friday ).
Mark Lavelle (31 ), from Boolingbrook, Swinford, also with an address at Basin Court, Dublin 8, was charged with assault causing harm at Cloverhill District Court last Friday.
Twenty-four-year-old Cooper was brought to the Mater Hospital, Dublin, after a stabbing incident at Dorset Street Upper in the early hours of September 20 last.
Mr Lavelle was remanded in custody to appear before the court again today when a bail application is expected to be heard.
