This programme from the College of Progressive Education is run over 60 tuition hours. Most importantly, it incorporates a further 30 hours of practical work experience. In addition, if learners complete a minimum of 50 hours of work experience they can obtain the FETAC Level 5 work experience module. All these features are unique to the College of Progressive Education.

Should you choose to advance your training further, having successfully completed your Froebel and FETAC Level 5 certificates with the college, you will qualify to progress to the Froebel Diploma and FETAC Level 6 Component Certificate programme. Should you successfully complete both programmes you will be awarded the Froebel Diploma in special needs assistant.
