Gerard Feeney is director of Hear Ltd and also an independent Hearing Aid Audiologist with sixteen years’ experience in the hearing aid industry. He is a member of the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (ISHAA ) and the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA ). He is also president of the Irish Hearing Society (IHS ) which is a chapter of the International Hearing Society with over 3,000 members throughout America, Canada and Europe.
He offers a full comprehensive hearing aid service providing a free of charge diagnostic hearing test and otoscopic examination of the ears. He advocates the highest professional standard of care and is on the panel of the Department of Social Protection and can offer hearing aid grants of up to €500 for each ear, depending on the total cost for those who qualify for the Department of Social Welfare grant. Gerard also provides hearing aids of all sizes from behind the ear to invisible, in the canal hearing aids in the ear, provided by the best manufacturers of hearing aids in the world from Starkey, Siemens, Pure Tone, GN Resound etc.
He has clinics in Mayo, Galway, Athlone, Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Kilkenny and Carlow and personally attends all of them. He extended his services to all Advanced Hearing Aid centre clients in Mayo, Galway, Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Kilkenny and Carlow and has recently taken over from Advance Hearing in six of their Out Reach clinics.
