World Karaoke Championship coming to Flynns

The Karaoke World Championships 2014 is coming to Flynns Bar, Castlebar, this Saturday night from 9pm.

The karaoke competition is the world's biggest vocal battle and it offers the opportunity for aspiring singers to become stars on a world stage.

The competition is managed and produced by KSF Entertainment Group.

In excess of 37 countries will participate in the final of the Karaoke World Championships, which will take place from November 13 to 15 in Stockholm.

National trials are conducted in each participating country with the winners competing in the international finals for the titles of male and female karaoke world champions.

The KWC Irish Championships 2014 is being run in conjunction with the VFI and sponsored by Molson Coors.

The prize for the KWC Ireland 2014 Champions is a fully paid trip to Stockholm, including flights, accommodation, and entry into the world final.

The Irish champions will have a chance to compete for the international crown, which comes with a cash prize of €5,000 together with the opportunity to return to Stockholm in 2015 on a paid trip to showcase themselves’ as an artist at the 2015 world final.

Additionally each champion secures a recording deal in association with KWC.
