Grammy nominated Chapman for Royal Theatre

Known as the Carole King of our generation, and for good reason, Beth Nielsen Chapman is a singer and songwriter extraordinaire.

As well as penning famous tunes for numerous country music stars, she has been performing her own emotionally striking songs for more then 20 years.

And now Chapman is coming to the Ruby Room in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, tomorrow night (Saturday ) at 8pm.

Chapman is based in Nashville and regularly works alongside and writes for superstar recording artists such as Faith Hill, Martina MacBride, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Bette Midler, Elton John, and Neil Diamond.

A breast cancer survivor, environmental activist, teacher of workshops, and lecturer on the magic of creativity, twice Grammy-nominated Chapman brings her diverse and acclaimed songs to the intimate Ruby Room at the Royal Theatre, in a show that will be a vibrant display of Chapman’s lyrical mastery and musical passion.

She will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Ruth Trimble from Northern Ireland.

Ruth Trimble has completed several tours with Chapman and writes and plays beautiful, melodic, lyrical, bittersweet songs, and loves performing to a live audience where she gets to impart her lively personality, great sense of humour, and love for life.

She always has a story to tell and she is currently focusing her creative attention on her third studio album.

Tickets, priced at €22.90, are available from the Royal Theatre Box Office, Westport Road, Castlebar, and from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
