A community human sun clock, one of just three of its kind in the country, was unveiled on Monday in Belmullet.
Local man Joe Murray designed and constructed the unique clock in the grounds of the civic centre, on behalf of the Belmullet Tidy Towns team.
The clock is expected to be a fun and interesting attraction for both children and adults, who can use the installation to figure out the time, using their own shadow.
