A Westport woman has made it all the way to the finals of the national brown bread baking competition.
Margaret Jennings from Westport will now be pitting her baking skills against seven other national finalists at the National Ploughing Championships later this month.
The competition is sponsored by Aldi in association with the Irish Country Womens Association and National Ploughing Association.
This year’s National Ploughing Championship takes place on September 23 and 24 in Stradbally, Co Laois.
