A special donkey day is taking place at the grounds of the Museum of Country Life, Turlough, tomorrow (Saturday ) from 12 noon to 4 pm.
The Hoof It! Annual Donkey Day will see teams from the Sathya Sai donkey sanctuary in Sligo and the Mayo Donkey Sanctuary in Kiltimagh offer visitors an opportunity to meet the donkeys, watch hoof trimming and see a feeding demonstration.
The event is free and suitable for all the family with no booking required.
