The WhistleBlast Quartet, a team of performers and teachers who travel the country offering a wide range of musical experiences to Irish children and adults, is returning west to continue its classical music interactive programme, this time hitting Belmullet.
A series of concerts and workshops will entertain and musically inspire young people and their families in Belmullet for three days.
As part of the tour, a group of children from Belmullet National School will compose and learn a unique short piece with WhistleBlast to give them an exciting opportunity to perform live.
This will be the grand finale at a free family concert in Áras Inis Gluaire, Belmullet, at 6.30 pm on Friday, September 12.
The free informal concert features WhistleBlast playing family classics from Tchaikovsky to Gymnopedies to James Bond. Everybody is welcome and the concert is suitable for adults and children.
