Siobhan Gainley from Castlebar, Mayo, is a dab hand at mixing up some sweet treats.
So much so that the kitchen enthusiast was crowned the overall winner at the Odlums All Ireland Home Baking Championships at the recent Tullamore Show.
The 21-year-old beat off some stiff competition with her three-egg sponge, bakewell tart, and chocolate cake.
Competition judge Catherine Leyden said Ms Gainley’s “obvious baking flair and taste” scooped her the title.
“Siobhan really did shine and [it is] a real triumph for someone so young. I always love to see a new generation of baking enthusiasts showcase their creations,” added Ms Leyden.
