Brian Cawley, who runs the Castlebar Cycle Store on Richard Street in Castlebar, is about to undertake a charity cycle in Africa. Brian will cycle around Uganda this coming November in aid of World Vision Ireland. The cycle will raise funds for the charity which sponsors children in disadvantaged and war torn countries around the world, including providing much needed food to families in Gaza in recent weeks. Brian will be holding a number of events to raise funds for the charity in the coming weeks and months in Castlebar, starting with a table quiz in Bosh Bar, next Thursday night at 9pm.
