Linenhall autumn programme: a taste of things to come

The Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar is working hard on its autumn programme, packed with goodies to entertain and engage, an exciting deluge of theatre, music, world cinema, children’s events, exhibitions and more. Here’s a couple of early announcements to tantalise your cultural tastebuds.

A great night of Traditional music is on the cards with Niall, Cillian and Caoimhín Vallely and Ross Martin on Thursday, September 18;

Galway-based Decadent Theatre is back with one of the most anticipated productions of 2014, LOVE/HATE writer Stuart Carolan’s Defender of the Faith on Monday and Tuesday, October 20 and 21.

There’s top family theatre for those aged from nine years and up with Slingsby’s, The Tragical Life of Cheeseboy, a stupendous and magical production from Australia for three special shows over the weekend of October 25 and 26,

The Far Off Hills, Lennox Robinson’s classic 1928 comedy, is a hilarious tale of scheming siblings, love and general jiggery-pokery presented by Loco and Reckless Productions/Nomad Theatre Network and director Mikel Murfi, on Monday and Tuesday, December 8 and 9.
