A series of memorial walks is taking place across Mayo on Sunday (July 20 ).
The events, organised by Mayo Roscommon Hospice and Kavanagh’s SuperValu, invite people to walk in memory of a loved one or a friend and raise funds for the hospice Help us to Help Others campaign.
The memorial walks are starting at 1pm from SuperValu stores in Castlebar, Westport, and Claremorris, and at the athletics club in Belleek Woods, Ballina.
Registration takes place at 12 noon. Register early to get a T-shirt, which walkers can personalise on the day with fabric markers provided.
Registration costs €20 and sponsorship cards are available.
