Mayo Roscommon Hospice has just opened its ninth Hospice shop with a new store on James Street in Westport. The shop is seeking quality donations and volunteers. Development officer Lorraine Toner said she is excited and hopeful that this new shop in the chain will do just as well as the other locations around Mayo and Roscommon. “The support, help and donations we receive for our shops is unbelievable,” she explained. “Fundraising is a challenging task these days. Our Hospice shops turn kind donations into income, which funds our specialist palliative care services in Mayo and Roscommon.”
