Photography display brings New York to Castlebar

An insightful exhibition of photography from the streets of New York is going on display from Friday June 27 in Café Rua on New Antrim Street in Castlebar.

John Fullard, a native of Castlebar now based in New York, has spent six years documenting the life and characters he encounters on, and under, the streets of New York City.

His work manages to continually capture stories and moments in time as people go about their daily lives.

This is the first such exhibition ever hosted at Café Rua, and will continue until the end of August.

Café Rua is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, and for dinner every Friday night.

The award winning restaurant is also open for dinner on Saturday and Sunday night for the International Four Day Walks festival.
