One of Ireland's foremost songwriters, Jimmy MacCarthy, will perform in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, next month.
Jimmy MacCarthy has written for many of Ireland’s best known performers, including Christy Moore, Mary Black, Mary Coughlan, Tommy Fleming, Westlife, and the Corrs.
Described by Hotpress magazine as “arguably the most significant songwriter Ireland has produced in the past 20 years”, MacCarthy is now returning to performing himself with his Prophecy/Conspiracy tour.
MacCarthy will pay homage to many of his old favourites while introducing some of his more recent work also.
