A Ballina pharmacy technician has picked up a top national award.
Sinead Casey from Molloy's Lifestyle Pharmacies & Health Stores on Garden Street was named Ireland's Community Pharmacy Technician of the Year at the Irish Pharmacy Awards in Dublin recently.
Director of the pharmacy chain Martina Geraghty said Ms Casey set a “standard of excellence which is a benchmark for all technicians within the group and now across Ireland.”
Molloy's Lifestyle Pharmacies & Health Stores also won a second award for Innovation and Service Development.
They won the award for developing an innovative dietician service and their own brand range of products called Benevits.
