A man in his 60's was fatally injured when he was struck by a van at approximately 3.30am this morning, (Tuesday, June 10 ) on the Ballycastle Road in Killala. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was closed off to facilitate an investigation by Garda forensic collision investigators. The driver of the van was uninjured in the incident. Gardai are appealing for witnesses who may have driven on the road this morning to contact them at Killala, Garda Station on 096 32111.
