Bella Beauty wins national recognition with bridal awards

Bella Beauty, the salon that was earlier this year named as a national finalist for Wedding Journal’s Bridal Make-Up Artist of the Year award, is once again winning national recognition for its bridal services.

The team at the salon has just learned that they have been named as a national finalist in the Mrs 2 Be Bridal Make Up Awards for 2014.

This recognition is particularly special to the team at the salon because the finalists are decided based on the testimonials of brides who have used the services on their special day, according to salon manager Niamh O’Grady.

“Knowing that a bride is happy with your work and how you make them look and feel on the biggest day of their lives is all the reward we need,” she said. “However, knowing that they have gone to the effort of nominating us for an award is extra special.

“I want to thank all of our brides for giving us the opportunity to work with them and we have been rewarded with amazing pictures of our brides looking stunning on their big day.”

Ms O’Grady said new developments in razor-sharp HD photography and videography mean it’s more important than ever for brides to be happy with their skin and make-up on the day.

“Bridal make-up has changed alot in the past few years and we are working more and more with brides in the build-up to the day itself, in areas such as skin care and preparation,” she explained. “A flawless finish for HD pictures and video is essential and the professional touch is what makes those pictures stand the test of time. We want our brides to look at their bridal pictures on their wall in 10 years time and be happy that they chose us, so we work extra hard to ensure our brides are 100 per cent happy in the run-up to and on their wedding day.”

Ms O’Grady said the salon strive to stay ahead with the latest innovations in make-up artistry. This has seen the salon introduce a new ‘flawless finish’ tool.

“We now also have an extra tool on hand to create a flawless finish,” continued Ms O’Grady. “It is called Airbase Airbrushing and it has become very popular with our brides. We also use MAC, Jane Ireldale and the very best products on the market to create a stunning look that will last all day.”
