Declan O’Rouke comes to the Linenhall

Singer and songwriter Declan O’Rourke performs at the Linenhall Arts Centre on Friday, May 30, at 8 pm and he’s selling out fast.

Declan O'Rourke was a latecomer to the Dublin singer-songwriter scene. However, in his mid-20s, within months of discovering Dublin's bustling songwriter open-mic circuit, O’Rourke found himself in the mix with the likes of Paddy Casey, Gemma Hayes, Damian Rice and many other Irish singer-songwriters. The rest is history.

This is a chance to hear O’Rouke in the intimate setting of the Linenhall.

Hot Press Magazine describes his music as the “sort of classic songs that people don’t write anymore”, while Paul Weller, writing in Mojo Magazine, touts ‘Galileo’ as “possibly the greatest song written in the last 30 years”.
