Gardaí at Swinford are investigating a fatal road traffic collision in which a male cyclist in his late 40's has died. The incident occured on the Ballaghadreen Rd, Classaghroe, about a mile outside Ballyhaunis, when the cyclist collided with a car at approx 11.45am on Saturday, May 17 2014. The man was pronounced dead at the scene was removed to the morgue in Castlebar where a PM is due to take place. The driver of the car was taken to Mayo General with non-life threatening injuries Gardaí are appealing for information to contact Swinford Garda Station on 094 9252990.
