Mayo teenagers who love pop, are bursting with ambition and dreaming of a career in the music industry are being called to take part in an RTÉ reality television show.
The show, Music Inc, will follow 10 students as they compete in a series of real music industry challenges, led by renowned tour manager Liam McKenna.
Challenges will span a huge range of tasks, designed to test the participants’ creativity, people management skills and organisational skills to the max.
All the skills required of a real tour manager will be sought, from creating a new piece of merchandise for a top global pop band, to setting up and overseeing a photo shoot, designing high impact stage outfits, generating publicity for a touring artist and grabbing industry attention with a yet to be signed act.
Students aged 13 to 15 are now invited to apply to take part in the show. The only qualifications necessary are a passion for the music industry, a desire to learn and a determination to succeed.
