Gardaí are not treating as suspicious the death of a woman whose body was discovered in an apartment in Lecanvey on Wednesday.
A Garda spokesperson told the Mayo Advertiser yesterday (Thursday ) that it is being treated as a sudden death.
At the time of going to print yesterday, the name of woman had not yet been released as gardaí were notifying the next of kin.
The body was discoverd by the landlord of the apartment and was removed to Mayo General Hospital for a post mortem examination.
