The Adrian Freeman Memorial Cup Day for the Mayo GAA u14A Feile na nGael title takes place tomorrow April 19 in the Tooreen.
Now in its second year, the Tooreen Hurling Club will again host the event in memory of the great Tooreen and Mayo hurler who passed away following a traffic accident in Australia in 2010.
Westport are the current holders of the crown having won the inaugural event last year, and will represent Mayo in Limerick at the National Feile na nGael event.
However both Caiseal Gaels and hosts Tooreen have been putting in serious training over the winter in preparation for this season’s event. The event winners will hope to go forward and represent Mayo GAA at this year’s National Feile na nGael event in Ulster in June.
