A Belmullet student has made it through to the final of a modelling competition for Tempted Boutique.
Katie McEleney, a 21-year-old marketing and event management student at Sligo IT, is one of 15 hopefuls from across Ireland who qualified for the model search competition.
Ms McEleney will now feature in a fashion show on May 11 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry, Dublin, which will be presented by Xpose style guru Triona McCarthy.
Tempted Boutique is an Irish store selling top fashion in curvy sizes. It launched its search for a ‘real woman’ to model the stores’ 2014 summer collection in February.
Tempted owner Rosemary Kearns said there was a “fantastic response” to the competition.
“We are hugely excited at the prospect of dressing our 15 finalists for their catwalk debut in the Crowne Plaza Hotel,” she said.
