This April brings the largest natural health show ever to The West, at the Radisson BLU Hotel, Galway — to be held on Sunday April 6. The ‘Evergreen Natural Health Show’ is an all day event from 11am-7pm featuring the leading brands in natural health along with tastings, demonstrations and advice from industry experts. The show highlights will include talksrunning throughout the day from health experts including Patrick Holford, Dale Pinnock, Prannie Rhatigan and Gareth Zeal.
Patrick Holford is regarded as one of the world's leading authorities in health and nutrition, specialising in the field of mental health. He is Britain’s best-selling author and a leading spokesman on these issues. Patrick is the founder of London’s Institute for Optimum Nutrition and is a regular contributor to TV, radio and press items on health and nutrition. Gareth Zeal is one of UK's most sought after experts in the field of nutrition and naturopathy with over 20 years’ experience at advising patients and customers on the benefits of good nutrition and natural medicine. Gareth works in the natural products industry as a senior nutritional consultant. He has a vast knowledge and experience of health problems and the way they can be helped with diet, food supplements and complementary therapies. His clients include top athletes and many well-known names from the entertainment world.
Dale Pinnock and Prannie Rhatigan will hold information sessions and cookery demonstrations. Dale is fast becoming a firm favourite due to his frequent appearances in the media and his books including the best-selling The Medicinal Chef all demonstrating his in-depth knowledge of the fields of nutrition and the tailoring of menus to meet individuals specific health needs. Prannie Rhatigan, a native of Sligo is a medical doctor with a lifetime experience of harvesting, cooking and gardening organically with sea vegetables. Her book, Irish Seaweed Kitchen, has become the ultimate bible for cooking with sea vegetables. Prannie will demonstrate her cooking techniques and discuss her recent work exploring the links between genetics, the environment and the benefits of live foods on enhancing health and well-being.
There will be a wide selection of exhibition stands offering the best and most exciting in natural health including food, supplements and skincare, as well as a chance to meet with the experts on the day. Everyone attending will also have a chance to win lots of prizes with giveaways during the course of the day and as Evergreen is the official player sponsor for Connacht rugby’s and Irish International, Robbie Henshaw, Robbie and some of his fellow players will be at the show to meet all their supporters between 2pm -3pm.
