From Friday, April 4 to Friday, June 27, ( from 4pm to 5pm ), Ballina Arts Centre is giving budding young Seamus Heaneys and John Banvilles the opportunity to develop their craft with a series of creative writing workshops for children. The 12-week workshop series will explore creativity, poetry, plot, language, and other aspects of creative writing. Under the guidance of writer Lizann Gorman, this course promises to be stimulating and fun, and is open to children up to the age of 12. The cost is €60, and booking is essential.
