Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring has been awarded the Irish Tourism Industry Restaurants Association of Ireland Mike Butt Award 2014 in honour of his contribution to the tourism industry.
At the Restaurant Association of Ireland presidential dinner, Pádraic Óg Gallagher presented Minister Ring with the Mike Butt Award for his contribution to tourism.
The award is presented annually to people who have had a positive effect on tourism in Ireland.
Speaking at the event Minister Ring said: “I am very grateful to receive this award and greatly appreciate the presentation made by the president of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, Pádraic Óg Gallagher.”
