An Taoiseach Enda Kenny will visit St Patrick’s Boys National School in Castlebar to present pupils and teachers there with an award for digital excellence.
The Digital School of Distinction award is an awards programme launched last year by tech companies HP and Microsoft to promote, recognise, and encourage best practice use of technology in primary schools.
St Patrick’s will be the first school in Mayo to receive the award.
