Mayo farming families wanted for reality show

A reality show pitting some of the country’s top farmers against each other to find Ireland’s best farming family is looking for Mayo entrants.

Feirm Factor, which has been running for four years, previously focused on individual farmers but this year the TG4 show maker, Good Company Productions, is searching for families to enter as a team.

Filming for the show begins in May and farm family teams must be made-up of four members. Team members must be related but can be cousins, uncles, aunts, siblings, parents, or sons- and daugthers-in-law

As the show is as Gaeilge, at least two team members must be fluent Irish speakers and all members must be over 18.

Feirm Factor will see eight family teams put through their paces to prove their farming ability through challenges in areas such as animal handling, selling, general knowledge, machinery, and business acumen.

The closing date for applications is April 8 at 5 pm. Contact Good Company Productions Ltd by telephone on (01 ) 4973225 or (087 ) 2387222 or email [email protected].
