The art and music students of St Gerald’s College, Castlebar, are putting their talents on show in the Linenhall Arts Centre on Monday at 8pm for their fourth annual spring recital and for the launch of a new art exhibtion.
The music department at the school is busily preparing for the recital, which will feature students involved in music making both in the school and in the locality.
Highlights of the recital will include the SGC grúpa ceoil, solo singers, instrumentalists, and various ensembles.
A variety of genres will feature from rock to pop and classical to traditional.
Monday will also see the opening of an exhibition of visual art by St Gerald's College students.
