The Keel Drama Group is bringing The Beauty Queen of Leenane to Wavecrest Hotel, Dooagh, on Friday next (March 14 ).
The play is set in the west of Ireland and concerns a familiar theme but with some very unexpected results.
Mari Kilbane is making her Achill stage debut in the role of Maureen Folan, while Ann Lavelle plays the put upon, domineering, mother.
Other locals in starring roles include Michael John Dever and Stephen Kelly jr.
Doors open at 8pm.
