Six students from St Gerald’s College Castlebar will be packing their bags and heading for Canada this summer to represent their country. The sextet of James Mc Ginty, Donal Boyle, Conor Geraghty, Barry Chambers, Calum Kyne, and Evan Heneghan will be competing in the First Lego League International Open in Toronto after their robotics team won the Irish First Lego League. It was announced this week by the Irish First Lego League (FLL ) organisers Robotics Ireland in conjunction with main sponsors SAP, the global software multi-national, that SGC Robotics (St Gerald’s College Robotics ) would be going to Canada to represent Ireland with SAP sponsoring the team.
