Up to 1,000 tug-of-war competitors and their fans are in Breaffy Sports Arena this weekend for the world indoor championships.
Competitors from 20 countries including Japan, China, Mongolia, Singapore, and South Africa are visiting Mayo for the event.
Dan McCarthy, president of the Irish Tug of War Association, is encouraging the public to go along and see the events.
