1,500 people called Knock Marriage Introductions last year

The Knock Marriage Introductions saw almost 1,500 people telephone the service in 2013 to make enquires about the service according to new figures released by this week.

In what is the 46th annual report by the Knock Marriage Introductions Service, they reported that 360 people had written to enquire about the service along with the telephone queries. In total 208 people applied for membership, 101 of them male and 107 female. In the 25-years-old to 45-year-old age group there were 62 male applicants and 72 female applicants. While in the 46-years-old to 75-years-old section, 39 men applied to the service and 35 women got in touch.
