The Irish Government have been called on to address the issue of the undocumented Irish in the US with the new US administration.
This call came from Westport TD Michael Ring, who has been outspoken on the issue over the past year.
“It is my sincere wish that Obama’s message of hope extends to the undocumented Irish who have made their homes in America, raised families and make a contribution to the economy there, but are living in fear of deportation,” said Deputy Ring this week.
