Mayo County Council's environment department will be reaching out to volunteer and community groups, both coastal and further inland, to help in the litter clean-up along the county's coastline.

“The environment department will be engaging with the coastal communities – and some a bit further inland too - to help in some of the lighter litter clean-up,” he said.
