An anti-pylon protest is taking place at Eirgrid's newly opened Ballina office today.
The protest follows a similar demonstration at Eirgrid's Ballaghaderreen office last Wednesday.
The protest is being coordinated by RAMPS, the regional alliance of community groups and landowners across Roscommon and Mayo who are opposed to the Grid West project.
The protest is beginning at 10.30 am and will go on all day, according to a RAMPS spokesperson.
