Fr Seán Farragher, who died earlier this month, has been described as a ‘a giant of scholarship’ by the principal of Blackrock College, Dublin.
The 91-year-old was an archivist at the college and penned many historical works, including writings on Eamon de Valera.
A keen photographer, he also founded the college’s photography club, which went on to win many Irish, British, and European awards.
