Nevins is well worth a visit over the holidays

Nevins is one of the oldest premises in the area and was established in the early 1800s. Situated on the main N59 road between Newport and Mulranny, it enjoys scenic Clew Bay and Nephin mountain views. Nevins’ cosy front bar is an ideal location to kickback and enjoy a drink by the fire. Drop in and enjoy their fresh home-made food in their spacious lounge. At Nevins they endeavour to cater for all our customers’ dietary needs with a wide selection of specials on a daily basis. They have an extensive bar food menu which is available daily from 9.30am to 9.00pm.

Nevins Newfield Inn is located approximately midway along the Greenway.

The Greenway traverses Ireland’s Atlantic coast between Westport town and Achill Island and visits the picturesque villages of Newport and Mulranny (Mallaranny ). It passes by some of the West of Ireland’s most dramatic mountains and offers magnificent views of Clew Bay and its many islands. All at Nevins hope their customers have enjoyed a very happy Christmas and have a prosperous new year.
