Judge Mary Devins refused jurisdiction in an assault case involving three men after hearing preliminary information on the prosecution at Ballyhaunis District Court this week, and adjourned the case for further DPP direction until March 4 2014.
Three men appeared in Ballyhaunis District Court this week in relation to the case, they were Jurijus Isakovas, 109 The Maples, Ballyhaunis, Donatas Ziziunas, 109 The Maples, Ballyhaunis, and Raimundas Maseleskis, 75 The Maples, Ballyhaunis. The three men were arrested on June 16 2013 in Ballyhaunis following a complaint that one of the men assaulted another party, while the other two men held back family members of the alleged assault victim as the alleged attack was carried out.
