Mulranny won the Best Small Town award at the 2013 Fáilte Ireland Tourism Towns awards, which were presented in Dublin on Thursday afternoon.
The awards commended small and large towns across Ireland who offer the best all round experience to tourists.
Ten towns around the country — including Mulranny, Murrisk, and Westport — were shortlisted for the accolade of being the top tourism town, with Kilkenny being crowned the winner.
