Luisne Art Project works on view

Luisne Art Project is an arts disability project run for the users of Crann Mor Centre in Ballinrobe. The group meet at an art studio in TACU Family Resource Centre in Ballinrobe on a weekly basis. The workshops are facilitated by the artist Breda Murphy who has worked with the group from its foundation. The project has been running for eight years and during that time a huge range of artistic media has been explored by the artists and a number of collaborations with other groups have taken place.

Open Arms is the exhibition resulting from their experience. It is a show of drawings and paintings which are accompanied by some photo and video documentation of the project.

The exhibition opening marks a celebration of International Day for Persons with Disabilities, Tuesday November 3 at 1pm at the TACU Family Resource Centre, Ballinrobe. All are welcome to the opening. Post the opening the art work will go on display in public buildings throughout Ballinrobe.
