An information event for all concerned residents and landowners in Knockmore and Foxford, who oppose Eirgrid's intended overground line and pylons, will take place in Knockmore Community Centre, on Monday November 25 at 8.30pm.
This meeting will outline the necessary and immediate action plan of the umbrella RAMP group (Roscommon and Mayo Protection ), which will become part of a co-ordinated national lobby, including those regional groups with a proven track record. Other local meetings are planned for all relevant communities along the proposed Grid West line and will be announced in due course.
