Mayo County Council have been congratulated for the “outstanding” work done on the Kiltimagh to Bohola road.
Councillor Eugene Lavin said he was delighted to see the works completed despite earlier suggestions that the job might not be finished until 2009.
Despite poor weather conditions, works continued on the road over the past couple of months, according to the Kiltimagh councillor, who said it had been “going on for a long time”.
