From early September transition year students of St Joseph’s secondary school, Castlebar, have been busy in rehearsal with their teachers for their annual musical show. This year’s show once again promises to be a musical extravaganza, featuring the ever popular songs of that music legend of the seventies, ABBA, high energy dance routines to rival Beyonce, and an engaging romantic storyline.
So if you are an ABBA fan, and even if you are not, why not ‘Take a Chance’ on St Joseph’s transition years and go along to Thank you for the Music, in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on Wednesday November 20 and Thursday November 21. To all you ‘dancing queens’ out there, put on your glam rock gear and enjoy the music. The show starts at 8pm sharp with doors opening at 7pm. Tickets are €10 from the school or €12 on the door.
