Strictly come Dancing returns to Breaffy

Breaffy GAA club in conjunction with the Irish Heart Foundation is returning to the dance floor once again this November with Strictly Come Dancing. Twenty of the most fleet of foot dancers from Breaffy will take to the dance floor in the Breaffy House Sports Arena in what promises to be a night of great entertainment and fun for all the family on Saturday November 9.

Taking to the floor will be 10 different couples dancing in a variety of styles that is sure to thrill all in attendance. Gordon Ryan and Sinead O’Donoghue will take on the charleston, with Kevin Beirne and Fiona Heneghan dancing to the merengue, Pat Tonra and Katie Casey will be strutting their stuff to the paso doble, while David Loftus and Sinead Hughes will also try their hand and the charleston. The salsa is the dance of choice for Henry Gavin and Pauline Jordan, while Michael Hall will hope to keep up his winning year when he dances the jitterbug with Ellen O’Malley. Toni Bourke and Kieran Rice will tackle the salsa, while Joe Lawlor and Sharon Tolan hope to topple the tango. Frances Carter and Julianne Hennelly are ready to dance the salsa, and finally Colm Kelly and Riona Gallagher are looking to jive their way to victory.

Doors will open and 7.30pm, with the show getting under way at 8pm, tickets cost €10 for adults and €5 for children and are available from club committee members and dancers.
