Jobs boost for Loughrea as Neylon announces new software support centre

Twenty-five jobs are to be created in Loughrea, Co. Galway by cleaning and facility management company Neylon Maintenance as part of a €1 million investment in a new software support centre.

The centre will support the development and distribution of the company’s next generation facility management software Flex FMS.

The new cloud based application will provide for the integration and management of critical information and enable facility managers to better control their operations and improve their compliance performance.

Building work will commence on the new centre this week and recruitment for the new positions has already started with plans to grow the head count to a full complement of 25 people.

Neylon Maintenance is the largest Irish owned supplier of facility management services to the private hospital sector, nursing homes, educational institutions and state bodies.

The company provides services in cleaning, catering, security and landscaping. Headquartered in Loughrea, Neylon Maintenance currently employs 276 people nationwide.

Announcing the expansion plans, Neylon Maintenance Managing Director Sylvester Neylon said,
