Beezneez returns to Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar with John McDwyer’s funny and heartbreaking play An Ordinary Man on Tuesday, October 22 at 8pm.
An Ordinary Man takes us on the life journey of a simple sawyer, through births, deaths and marriages, with a bit of football and ballroom dancing thrown in just for craic until, ultimately, we realise that while there may be an ordinary man, there is no such thing as an ordinary life. Directed by the author and crowned by an astonishing central performance by Gerry Farrell, An Ordinary Man promises to live long in the memory.
An Ordinary Man was previewed to a standing ovation in King House, Boyle in September and has received standing ovations from sold out house on tour since then. The Linenhall performance is part of a massive sixteen venue tour which continues until early December. And, as an added bonus, Beezneez, by way of thanking patrons for their support over the last seventeen years, has made this ‘The Tenner a Ticket Tour’. Don’t miss this great offer for a Beezneez classic.
