Flybe has announced it is to operate a new service from Ireland West Airport Knock to Birmingham starting next month.
Starting on October 27, Flybe will operate four weekly flights from Ireland West Knock to Birmingham with fares starting from €45 one way including taxes. This expansion of Flybe services is good news for the west of Ireland and is Flybe’s third new service from the airport following the continued success of its services to Manchester and Edinburgh.
Managing director of IWAK, Joe Gilmore, said, “We are delighted to welcome today’s announcement by Flybe to operate a new Birmingham service. Our Birmingham service has long been one of our most established routes from the airport with over 50,000 passengers using the services each year. The announcement highlights Flybe’s commitment to serving the people of the west and northwest of Ireland, providing vital connectivity to key markets in the UK and Scotland.”
